While COVID-19 totally changed our plans for our 2020 kick off to full timing tour, we have managed to piece together what we hope to be an exciting second half of the year.
August 6 - August 9
We are leaving our RV with Rick and Gabby for a few days to stay in Savannah in a historic home. We’re meeting up with Craig’s brother, Scot and his lovely wife, Melissa who live in Sneads Ferry, NC. Racheal and Danny will also be coming over from Tifton, GA. Plus, Melissa’s brother and her brother’s wife are coming down from North Carolina as well. We will all be celebrating Melissa’s milestone birthday as she turns the big 5-0 and there’s no place better than Savannah!
Savannah holds the distinction of being the oldest city in the state of Georgia and also having one of the largest historic districts in the entire country. Drawing visitors in with its eccentric charm and portal into the past, Savannah is one of the top vacation destinations in the South.
When you stay in vacation homes Savannah GA, the amazing historic architecture and Old World culture will be right outside your door. We wanted to stay somewhere in the Forsyth Park area and we found a vacation rental only a few blocks from the park, at 513 Habersham Street. This four bedroom, three bathroom property is just over 1,900 square feet, has free Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, washer and dryer — I’ll have to take advantage of that and bring all our laundry! 🙂
